Women can get injured in sex not only because of roughness or the presence of a large number of partners.

Injuries in women during sex

Although men are more susceptible to injury during intimate play, women can also experience discomfort that can cause serious harm to their health. In this article, we’ve compiled a list of the most common injuries women experience during sex.

VAGINAL RUPTURE

A serious and fairly common type of vaginal injury during sex. It most often occurs during the “officer” position, when the partner’s legs are draped over the man’s shoulders. This can damage the anterior vaginal wall, and if the man has a large erectile dysfunction, the posterior wall can also be damaged.

Signs of a vaginal rupture

  • severe pain in the vaginal area with dynamics of development;
  • discharge in the form of blood.

What to do?

  • If a vaginal rupture occurs, call an ambulance immediately! If you wait, the resulting wounds may become infected, causing inflammation throughout the abdominal cavity, which will negatively impact other organs.
  • If the tear occurs in an area exposed to the eye, apply a sterile bandage and ice to the area before the doctor arrives. This will relieve pain and slow the inflammatory process.
  • If the injury occurred inside the vagina, never stop the bleeding with a tampon. Firstly, this will only increase the risk of inflammation developing and spreading. Secondly, it will create the illusion that the bleeding has stopped, when in reality, it will simply stagnate.
  • You can’t be embarrassed about what happened and refuse to call a doctor; this will only worsen the situation and increase the risk of complications developing.

UTERINE RETROCESS

This is the rarest female injury during sex, but one of the most serious. It can occur when the position changes unexpectedly during sex or if the man has a large penis. Incidentally, this is dangerous not only for the woman but also for the man, who could suffer a penile fracture. This injury causes bleeding and pain, and the uterus shifts to the side. This can lead to infertility or difficult pregnancies.

What to do?

Call an ambulance immediately! Such sexual injuries in women should never be left unexamined.

CLITORAL INJURY

While such injuries during sex are relatively rare in women, if damage to the clitoris occurs, expect very unpleasant sensations. While the clitoris is naturally protected from injury, it can be susceptible to bites, friction, or scratches.

What to do?

Minor scratches and abrasions may heal on their own after a few days. However, serious scratches and injuries can cause bleeding and hematoma formation. The woman may experience pain during urination and movement. To relieve the pain, apply a sterile bandage or special dressing to the area and something cold to the lower abdomen. Ultimately, it’s best to call an ambulance.

DAMAGE TO THE MUCOSA

A woman’s vaginal lining is extremely delicate and irritable, so after a wild night, it can become damaged, abraded, or scratched. This can cause discomfort or even pain, and it can also lead to infection. This type of sexual trauma can occur due to a partner’s inexperience, or if you had sex on a sandy beach or in the woods. It can also occur if a woman lacks lubrication.

What to do?

Don’t interfere with such situations or try to apply disinfectants (brilliant green or alcohol) to the wounds. Simply abstain from sex for a few days, and the mucous membranes will naturally recover from these types of sexual injuries. However, if the discomfort persists after five to seven days, consult a gynecologist.
